Pet Emergency Kits
and Supplies

Sadly, it is estimated that tens of thousands of dogs and cats perished in
Louisiana and Mississippi alone during the Hurricane Season of 2005 Katrina and Rita.
Our Pet EVAC-KITS contain the recommended items for your dog or cat during a disaster.
They have the same food and water 5 year shelf life as human kits with a special emphasis on your dog's or cat's health and safety.
Be sure to add any special needs for your pet like medicine and favorite toys.
PET Emergency Preparedness:
- Make sure all pets wear collars and tags with
up-to-date identification. Your pet's ID tag should
contain his name, telephone number, and any
urgent medical needs.
- The ASPCA recommends microchipping your
pet as a more permanent form of identification. A
microchip is implanted in the animal's shoulder
area, and can be read by scanner at most animal
shelters.
